Hello everyone!

Oh my Gosh, it’s been a couple months since I wrote my last book review. My Life has been so busy. My job has been so demanding and i have been reading a couple of ARCs that i’ll be posting as the weeks come by. Netgalley has been keeping me busy with reading and most reviews I’ve written are on my Goodreads. You can follow me there, my name there is Aspirited_Panda. 

Now on to my review. I read Epic of Helinthia by MJ Pankey and It’s one of the books I’ll treasure forever. Epic of Helinthia, First of It’s name, a trilogy of Greek Mythology ( I’ve been reading Fire and Blood by George RR Martin). It’s a fast-paced adventure that I swear, has kept me on my toes. The island of Helinthia is where this story it’s based on, and when evil befalls the island, its up to our heroes Drogon, Gandor, Kelric, and Gonivein to ensure their homes don’t befall to the clutches of the mad king. But then our heroes are given a task to bestow the rightful king to his throne.

We learn that the mysterious hidden king is the key to defeating evil. Each character has their own stories, back grounds , and issues, and we learn how their lives came to be intertwined with each other. The reader gets a glimpse of the many gods and goddesses and their part in helping the heroes on their journey. This story isn’t rushed, which is what I loved about this book.. The dialogue was great and it’s not predictable. To me, though, I felt as though I was watching a movie, and I swear, I laughed and cried, and the twist at the end was incredible. I love that when a book just hits you with a twist and i wasnt upset with how it ended and i’m excited to read the next book. 

I gave this book 5 stars. Epic of Helinthia is my first Fictional Greek Mythology book and I want to read more as the year goes by. Thank you NetGally and MJ Pankey for allowing me to read this novel. I’m so excited to be posting this review to my own blog. This review is my own opinion and it’s true to how i feel. If and when you decide to buy this book, I hope to know what you think of it. It comes out October 1st and it’s now available for preorder.
